Just Keep Writing

"Yes, i love writing. Yes, sometimes i'm lazy to write. Okay, i think i will write for at least fifteen minutes for my novel. "

The next thing happened was, i forgot and did something else. Probably, sleeping, reading journals, wondering about research and others beside, writing. I think this is the most common problem faced by the future best seller writer. Ups, i call it future best seller writer, cuz all of us try hard to write books that people love, right?

Don't get me wrong, i bet everyone wants to be appreciated and get a life from writing like J.K Rowling and Elizabeth Gilbert. They suceeded to create a long lasting novel which people will read it over and over. They are famous cuz they have put their works into passion. However, for your information, Elizabeth Gilbert consider she is suck as well. You are not alone, fellows. I jumped to her homepage yesterday about her thoughts in writing. She explained the reason why we, future best seller writer, must keep going and get back to work.

The followings are part of Elizabeth's words that hooked me:

"I often hear people say, “I’m not good enough yet to be published.” That’s quite possible. Probable, even. All I’m saying is: Let someone else decide that. Magazines, editors, agents – they all employ young people making $22,000 a year whose job it is to read through piles of manuscripts and send you back letters telling you that you aren’t good enough yet: LET THEM DO IT. Don’t pre-reject yourself. That’s their job, not yours. Your job is only to write your heart out and let destiny take care of the rest."
