#10. Yesterday x)

Okay, i know i have been such a bad blogger. Sorry for the absence for errrr... 11 days? Haha Yeah my laptop has been in "hospital" but no excuse i can do blogging from handphone. So i admit i am wrong. I neglected you, blog. (kissing blog affectionately) xD

Anyway, many things happened. I travelled to Thailand and Melaka, one of historical city in Malaysia during these past weeks. But now i would like to tell you about yesterday. Yes, 12th of July is such an important day for me. There were three things happened:

1. Khatam Al-Qur'an
This is the first time in my life. Khatam Al-Qur'an is the terms called when you finish reading the whole Qur'an in Islam. Since child, i don't read Qur'an a lot. I was 12 years old when Dad sent me to one of junior catholic schools in town. The same happened with senior high school. I learned about catholic religion for 6 years. I know a lot about it. But hamdulillah, it doesn't drag me from islam. On the contrary, it makes me closer to Allah SWT cuz i was seeking for peace. I was confuse which one is better. Catholic influence was strong for an innocent child like me that time. So i pray to Allah SWT and i find peace inside. By the time, i know i have chosen the right path. Though i always try to pray five times a day, i lack of knowledge about Islam. I don't know about the theory. I just practice the pray and fasting in everyday life.

Mom bought this Al-Qur'an before i left to Malaysia. I still remember we were at the book store, Mom was holding the holy book and said, "Kak, don't forget to read Qur'an there." I found many stories inside it. It is true that the greatest book is Al-Qur'an, the source of all questions in the world. It answers your worries, pray, dissapoint, curiousity. Al- Qur'an explains all of them. Allah SWT concludes the story about Islam in 30 juz and 114 surahs. Actually it is a shame that for 22 years in your life, you just had once of khatam Al-Qur'an. But better late than never right? The thing is, i have tried to do that consistently. Yeah, we are busy with school, work, activity and all stuff. We can finish a thick-big-heavy Harry Potter Novels but not to read Qur'an. So what i did is i set the target. Two pages minimum for a day. That way you can be motivated to read Qur'an. The most interesting thing is when i read the translation. I love stories. And i like the beautiful words of Qur'an. Sometimes i wonder how Allah SWT arrange them. But Allah SWT is the God of everything so well..no wonder x)

I also made a hint by sticking the post-it to important surah. So if i see the post-it is sticked there meaning that it is important. Then i can refer back to the post-it next time. The same goes with your files of subject.
I was shaking when i read the pray of Khatam Al-Qur'an. The mix of happy, thankful and nervous. Hamdulillah, hamdulillah x))

The Lovely Qur'an x)

2. Way back to Allah SWT
I can't mention exactly here. I have been through this before and once i have decided to stop. Then i realize that i have to continue. I am sure there is no effort in vain. I know there will be many obstacles ahead but i know Allah SWT always beside me. I did this purely for Allah SWT. One more, Allah SWT always give chance for those who want to change and find the way back to the right track.

3. The hidden talent
Last night, i saw a new thing. I haven't seen this kind of thing before. When a guy can speak to the ruh like talk to his friend. Moreover, i know i have another hidden talent beside eating almost any kind of food and singing in bathroom xD hehe I can do another big thing. If i keep training then i can do that. This is a gift from Allah SWT to help people. So i just want to prove that to my self. For me, success is when my presence is useful and helpful for others.

That is all for today. Welcome back to #30HariMenulis ! x) So happy to get the mood and chances back! See you tomorrow! *)

Life is good,
Chandini
