Before The Sun Sets..x)

Some enlightenment for your romanticism soul:

“So I thought I could write a book that could capture what it’s like to really meet somebody..”

“My brain felt like it was at rest.. free from the consuming frenzy. It was almost like a natural high. I felt so peaceful inside.“

“In my field, I see these people..come into it with a big idealist visions..of becoming a new leader that will create a better world. They enjoy the goal but not the process.”

“It was not about big, revolutionary ideas. It was about pencils. I see the people that do the real work and what’s really sad is that the people that are most giving, hardworking, and capable of making this world better usually don’t have the ego and ambition to be a leader. They don’t see the interest in superficial rewards. They don’t care if their names ever appear in the press. They are actually enjoying the process of helping others.”

“Desire’s the fuel of life.”

“Life’s hard. It’s supposed to be.”

“You’re putting your passion into action.”

“Sometimes I put things in drawers inside my head and forget about it. I guess it’s less painful to put things away than to live with it.”

“Memory’s never finished as long as you are alive.”

“I want to paint more, I want to play my guitar every day. I want to learn Chinese. I want to write more songs. But later I realize, I end up doing not much.”

“If you don’t believe in any kind of magic or mystery, you’re basically as good as dead.”

“I think the book that I write is like building something.. so that you wouldn’t forget the details of time that we spent together.”

“I mean, i always feel like a freak because I’ve never be able to move on like this (snapping fingers).”

“You can never replace anyone, what is lost is lost.”

“You can never replace anyone because everyone is made of such beautiful, specific details.”

“Do you wanna know why I write that stupid book? So you will come to a reading in Paris and I could walk up to you and ask, “Where the fuck were you?”

“I’m serious. I think I wrote it, in a way, to try to find you.”

“Because we were young and stupid.”

“All the past is the past. It was meant to be that way.”

“Even being alone is better than sitting next to a lover and feeling lonely.”

“You start off that way. And after you've been screwed over a few times..You forget about all your delusional ideas and you just take what comes into your life.”

“It reminded me how genuinely romantic I am, how I had so much hope in things..and now it’s like I don’t believe anything relates to love. I don’t feel things for people anymore.”

“In a way I was able to feel all the romanticism into one night and I was never able to feel this again.”

“Women pretend things like that, I don’t know.”

“You know, I want a great life. I want her to have a great life..she deserves that. But we’re just living in the pretense of a marriage, responsibility, you know all these ideas how people are supposed to live.”

"People think they are the only one going through tough times."

“You meant for me much more. Than anyone I’ve met before.”

“I’ll never forget this one-night thing. Even tomorrow in other arms, my heart will stay yours until I die.”

 Editor's note:

"Anyway, the screen play has been written by the actor and actress itself as well as the director and script writer."

"It won 8 awards and nominated for other 12 nominations."

"It has managed to follow the success of 1995 first movie "Before Sunrise" with only 10 characters play in it.

Happy Watching x)
