Don't Try This as a PhD Student

I recommend you for not following this procedure:

Me: Hey, Prof. Zhu how are you?
Prof Zhu: Heyy, i'm fine.
Me: Do you still remember me, Ulka, the one who asked you during your presentation in colloquium? and also email you for the slides..
Prof Zhu: Yaa..Ulka.. Oh, did you get my slides?
Me: No. Cuz even though they gave me all slides in colloquium but your slides were not there.
Prof Zhu: Oh, really? Okay, i will email it to you (Give me a piece of paper)
Me: Oh.. does it bother you?
Prof Zhu: No, don't worry.

(I'm writing my email..)
Prof Zhu: So, you don't use UUM email.
Me: Yaa, i rarely use it.
Prof Zhu: (laughing)
Me: Prof, will you be in ICOCI conference?
Prof Zhu: Yeahh..ICOCI.. why?
Me: My paper was accepted and Doctor Syamsul will present it..
Prof Zhu: Oh..why Doctor Syamsul? You should the one who present it.. We also have cut the fees and you will get 50% discount as UUM student.
Me: Oh..okay..i will ask him..
Prof Zhu: And it will be in Sarawak, Kuching..for the first time..
Me: Ya..ya..
Prof Zhu: You should go there..
Me: .. Actually i have my own reason..
Prof Zhu: Aaahh..i see..

(She is about going to go..)
Prof Zhu: Okay..now i have to have my dinner first..
Me: (shake hands) Congratulations, you are a Professor now..
Prof Zhu: Ooh..It's been ages.. it is since January..
Me: Yeah.. i just saw it..
Prof Zhu: (laughing) (Silence for a moment)
Me: See you Prof. Thank you.
Prof Zhu: Yeah, see you!

There should be a script for meeting a Professor. Or the best way is just keep silent. :|
