This is a joke told by Assoc. Prof. Zulikha in Colloquium for Graduate Students. At the moment, she was talking about Literature Review and Conceptual Framework.
At Kopitiam Cafe, Changlun
A: Hey, you know Mr. X? The Dean of faculty Economy?
B: Yeah, what is wrong?
A: He got married with seventeen-year-old girl.
B: What? Really? Who told you that?
A: ......
Who told you? See? Even at the cafe, we need Literature Review. xD
Literature review is the critical analysis about the current knowledge which will be the foundation for the research. It contains about the previous research, theory and any literature that you refer for the particular topic.
PS: It is the most exhausting part and i am currently in that phase :|
